Induction
For your convenience, the Derwent Entertainment Centre (DEC) offers online inductions for all contractors and touring personnel completing bump in and bump out requirements for an event. The DEC requires those who will be on-site during this time to complete an induction to:
- Ensure the safety of everyone involved in presenting a live event and;
- To comply with legislative requirements

Please complete the above induction and email the induction sign off form 72 hours prior to commencing work at the DEC.
WHITE CARD
All contractors and touring personnel working during the bump in/out of live events must hold a construction white card and provide a copy of this before commencing work in the register provided on arrival.
SIGN IN/OUT
All contractors and touring personnel working during the bump in/out of live events must sign into and out of the venue before commencing work.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Please note the following personal protective equipment is to be worn at the venue during bump in/out:
- Steel Cap Boots
- High Visibility Vests
- Hard Hats (whilst overhead work is underway)
LICENCE REQUIREMENTS
All contractors and touring personnel working during the bump in/out of live events must provide a copy of their current licence and complete the licence register provided on arrival in order to commence work, including but not limited to:
- Fork Lift
- Rigging
- Elevated Work Platform
